They can both be seen on the television in the Living Room in Chibi-Robo! Plug Into Adventure!. Meriweather seems to be incompetent at his job, predicting the weather to be "sunny, rainy, or, um... hail-y" in the first broadcast seen by Chibi-Robo. Later, he speaks out, with Brokejaw, against Chibi-Robos across the country for their rapidly increasing energy usage, reporting from the nuclear power plant.
