Chibi-Manual
The Chibi-Manual is a book written by Citrusoft Robotics that was included with a few models of Chibi-Robos to aid the customers in understanding how their new robot friend works. The first version of the Chibi-Manual, seen in Chibi-Robo! Plug Into Adventure!, is 8 chapters long and details Chibi-Rankings, Chibi-Gear, Chibi-Tools, Utilibots, and much more. The second Chibi-Manual, seen in Okaeri! Chibi-Robo! Happy Richie Ōsōji!, is a digital book that can be found on the Chibi-PC in the Cutting Edge Chibi-House, and as such, seems to be designed more for Cutting Edge Chibi-Robos to read, rather than the customers. The second Chibi-Manual has 25 chapters, covering topics such as Watts, climbing objects, the Chibi-Vacuum, and the Maintenance Machine and How-Much Machine.
Chibi-Robo! Plug Into Adventure!
The Chibi-Robo Chibi-Manual, more commonly referred to as the Chibi-Manual, is an operating manual that came with the first generation of Chibi-Robos. It has 8 chapters, each discussing specific details of Chibi-Robo's functions. In Chibi-Robo! Plug Into Adventure!, the night after Jenny Sanderson's birthday party, George Sanderson sleeps on the couch in the Living Room, loosely holding the Chibi-Manual. Shifting in his sleep, the Chibi-Manual will fall to the ground, allowing Chibi-Robo to read it. After finishing a chapter, Telly may give Chibi-Robo 6

Chapter 1: Chibi-Robo and You
Chibi-Robo is your own, personal “buddy bot.” You'll never have to worry about little Chibi. He's perfectly content to wander about, working to make your life the picture of perfection! If you ever want to know what Chibi-Robo is carrying or you want to know how to control him, just press START to open the Pause menu. From here, you can learn everything you want to know about operating your Chibi-Robo.
Chapter 2: Chibi-Robo Rankings
Competition inspires all to greatness. As a result, Citrusoft has instituted a ranking system. Any Chibi-Robo that reaches the top ranking is upgraded, free of charge, to Super Chibi-Robo status. Encourage your Chibi!
Chapter 3: Bonus Batteries
As Chibi-Robo earns Happy Points to increase his rank, Citrusoft will deliver a bonus battery to boost Chibi-Robo's battery capacity. Just another sign of Citrusoft's commitment to consumer satisfaction! No need to thank us!
Chapter 4: Chibi-Gear
Left to his own devices, Chibi-Robo will seek out Moolah and purchase Chibi-Gear using his personalized Chibi-PC (stored inside of the patented Chibi-House). There are three kinds of Chibi-Gear.
Chibi-Copter
Using the Chibi-Copter, Chibi-Robo can glide
safely to the ground from high areas or fly
horizontally for short distances (using 
).
Chibi-Radar
This handy radar detects useful things nearby.
Chibi-Blaster
This arm cannon fires a blast of sonic energy.
Chapter 5: Chibi-Tools
Chibi-Robo is an inventive and resourceful little fellow. He can carry around certain objects he finds around your house and use them as tools. By using these tools, Chibi-Robo will find all sorts of ways to serve you, so please, try not to be too hard on him if he takes something without asking.
Chapter 6: Changing Suits
Chibi-Robo can fashion unique
and stylish outfits, suitable for
every occasion.
Press 
while Chibi-Robo is wearing a special
suit to make Chibi strike an exciting pose. But
you have to pretend you're not looking. Chibi is
slightly bashful, and we feel that this is the
best solution.
Chapter 7: Utilibots
Chibi-Robo is very eco-conscious, and so one of his primary functions is to collect Scrap from around your house and recycle it into Utilibots. While you will not see the Scrap being recycled into Utilibots, please be assured that they are constructed in an environmentally friendly manner, entirely out of recycled products inside of the Recyclotron in the Chibi-House. There are three kinds of Utilibot.
Ladder
These help Chibi-Robo reach high places.
Warp
These carry Chibi-Robo to far-off places.
Bridge
These help Chibi-Robo cross large gaps.
Chapter 8: More Utilibots
Ladder Utilibots
Chibi-Robo can use Ladder Utilibots to reach
high places.
Chibi-Robo can push or pull the Ladder Utilibot
to anywhere he needs it.
To activate the Ladder Utilibot, Chibi-Robo
simply inserts his plug into a socket to extend a
ladder. Press 
to stop.
If Chibi-Robo overextends the ladder,
Chibi-Robo can simply reinsert the plug and
tilt 
down to lower the ladder into position.
Once every ten days, Telly returns the Ladder
Utilibot to its starting position. This way,
Chibi-Robo never loses track of his Utilibots.
Warp Utilibots
Warp Utilibots carry Chibi-Robo to far-off places in the blink of an eye. To activate the Warp Utilibot, Chibi-Robo simply inserts his plug into a socket. The Warp Utilibot will transport him to another Warp instantly. During the warp, Chibi-Robo may spin severely and uncontrollably. If his battery is running low, this may cause operational difficulties for Chibi.
Bridge Utilibots
Bridge Utilibots help Chibi-Robo to
cross large gaps.
Chibi-Robo can push or pull the Bridge Utilibot
to anywhere he needs it.
To activate the Bridge Utilibot, Chibi-Robo
simply inserts his plug into a socket to extend
a bridge. Press to stop.
If Chibi-Robo overextends the bridge, Chibi-Robo can simply reinsert the plug and tilt to shorten the bridge until it's in position.
Once every ten days, Telly returns the Bridge
Utilibot to its starting position. This way,
Chibi-Robo never loses track of his Utilibots.

Okaeri! Chibi-Robo! Happy Richie Ōsōji!
The Chibi-Manual in Okaeri! Chibi-Robo! Happy Richie Ōsōji! is a digital copy stored in the Chibi-PC. This Chibi-Manual boasts 25 chapters compared to the first model's 8. Not all chapters are available to read immediately, however. 16 chapters are available immediately and the other 9 are unlocked as the story progresses or as Chibi-Robo discovers things.
Chibi-Watts
Chibi-Watts is the electrical power that is powering Chibi-Robo. Chibi-Robo will not be able to move if the Chibi-Watts become 0. If that happens, then Chibi-Robo will be taken back to his house. A few Happy Points will also be lost... So do not forget to recharge!
House-Watts
House-Watts is the electrical power used around the house. If the House-Watts become 0... Then it will not be possible to recharge Chibi-Robo. Use the Trash Cans to generate plenty of House-Watts!

Plug
Touch the Plug on the ground in order to pick it up! Touch the plug while carrying it in order to drop it!
Outlets
If you touch an Outlet while holding the Plug... Then it will be inserted and the Chibi-Watts will be recharged.
Save
When you insert the Plug into the Outlet in the Chibi-House... Or at the end of a cycle when you return to the Chibi-House... Then you will be asked if you want to save the game!
Look around
Use the D-pad or the ABXY buttons to look around the area!
Chibi-Eyes
Using the Chibi-Eyes found in the Chibi-Menu... You'll be able to search for trash, dust, outlets, and more!
Climb objects
When facing an obstacle with similar height as Chibi-Robo... Make Chibi-Robo walk into it for a little while... He will then perform a short jump in order to climb the obstacle!
Climb cord
Chibi-Robo can climb things like cords and strings!
Climb cloth
Chibi-Robo can climb things like sofas and curtains!
Grabbing
Touch things like drawers and small cans to make Chibi-Robo grab them. He will then be able to move them in different directions!
Chibi-Vacuum
If Chibi-Robo is plugged into an Outlet... Then he will be able to use the Chibi-Vacuum!
Dust Bags
When the Chibi-Vacuum has been used to suck things up... Those things will be stored as dust inside a Dust Bag. In the beginning Chibi-Robo will only be able to use 1 bag at a time. If you find a dropped Dust Bag then the max limit will increase!
Maintenance Machine
With the Maintenance Machine... You can spend Moolah in order to make the Plug’s cord longer!
How-Much Machine
With the How-Much Machine... Items found with the Chibi-Sieve can be converted to Moolah!

Sparkle Rate
The Sparkle Rate represents a room's overall cleanliness. It will increase as a room becomes more clean. If the Sparkle Rate reaches 70％, something good might happen...
Chibi-Sieve
The trick to successfully using the Sieve... Is to shake it with large moves until a Gem appear. If the Gem is covered in dust when it appears... Then gently shake the Sieve until you can see it clearly!

Under Floor
If you’re running out of Watts or Moolah... Then try using the Chibi-Vacuum on soil found in Under Floor... Or use the Spoon to dig in spots with color that stands out... You’ll often find Trash in those places!

Post Pal
If you gather Seals and send them away using Post Pal... Then you can win things for free! When the [Live Like a Celebrity] campaign becomes active... Then Post Pal can be bought from the TV shopping!

Swinging Plug
If the Plug’s cord is long enough... Then you can insert it into an Outlet far away by throwing it. Furthermore... Things that look like switches... Spots likely to break... Try throwing the Plug at things like that!

Chibi-Training
Chibi-Training is training on how to use Chibi-Robo. You can perform different actions as many times as you like... Be sure to do some training!
Wonder Timer
With the Wonder Timer... You can set the length of the daytime- and nighttime cycles. In the beginning you can only select 5 minutes. But as the Chibi-Robo Rank increases... The selectable cycle times will also increase!
Happy Loan
With the Happy Loan you can borrow Moolah. However... When it's time to repay the loan... And you're [sic] Moolah is 0... Then you won't be able to buy anything from the TV Shopping.

While the Watt consumption when using the Bike is higher... It’s still extremely convenient when visiting places further away!
