A Happy Point is a collectible throughout the Chibi-Robo! series found by accomplishing various actions and making other characters happy. Happy Points may be used to increase the Chibi-Ranking, converted into Watts, or used as a currency, depending on the game.
History
While George Ebisu was working on designing a new Robot to save Citrusoft Robotics from bankruptcy after the energy crisis caused by Giga-Robos, he began by focusing on making it energy-efficient. However, Ebisu's supervisor knew that energy-efficiency alone wouldn't solve their issues and was only the easy part of the solution. In a creative rut, Ebisu read a note from his wife that said he'd made her so happy and encouraged him to share his gifts with others to make them happy, too. This was the push Ebisu needed, causing him to recognize happiness as the other key component to designing his new robot, which became Chibi-Robo.
Chibi-Robo! Plug Into Adventure!
In Chibi-Robo! Plug Into Adventure!, Happy Points are earned by making others happy, whether by cleaning up Stains, throwing away Trash, or just doing something nice for someone. Happy Points are used to increase Chibi-Robo's Chibi-Ranking, which is done by plugging into the Outlet inside of the Chibi-House. If Chibi-Robo reaches certain milestone Chibi-Rankings, Citrusoft Robotics will reward him with Bonus Batteries to increase his maximum Watt capacity.

Chibi-Robo! Park Patrol
In Chibi-Robo! Park Patrol, Happy Points are turned into Watts stored in the Chibi-House, which are then used to recharge Chibi-Robo, pay for items bought in the Chibi-Gear shop in the Chibi-PC, and build Park Projects. Happy Points convert to Watts at a rate of 1:20, and are earned by planting Flowers, powering up friends, selling flowers to the Flower Shop, breaking cardboard boxes, playing Games, and growing flowers with a Flower Combo.
Okaeri! Chibi-Robo! Happy Richie Ōsōji!
In Okaeri! Chibi-Robo! Happy Richie Ōsōji!, Happy Points are used to increase the Chibi-Ranking, and are earned by picking up Trash, cleaning Stains, and doing nice things for other characters. If Chibi-Robo reaches certain milestone Chibi-Rankings, Citrusoft Robotics will reward him with Bonus Batteries increasing his maximum Watt capacity, increasing how far the Maintenance Machine can extend the Chibi-Plug cord, and even unlock additional Wonder Timers to alter the length of the Time Cycle.

However, along with the standard Happy Point, there are two other types of Happy Points called Rich Points and Sad Points.
Rich Point
Rich Points are earned by doing actions that make a character feel rich, and are added to the Happy Point total.
Sad Point
Sad Points are earned by doing actions that make other characters feel sad, and subtract from the Happy Point total.
Chibi-Robo! Photo Finder
In Chibi-Robo! Photo Finder, Happy Points are used as a currency to purchase Silhouette Film from the Silhouette Catalog in the Chibi-PC Shop program. Once Silhouette Film has been purchased, Chibi-Robo gives the required Happy Points to the Silhouette Printer, which processes them and prints the purchased Silhouette Film. Happy Points are earned by completing Work for Toys that send Job Mail, as well as throwing away Trash found while exploring areas accessed with the Chibi-PC.
