A '''Chibi-Robo''' is a [[Robots|robot]] produced by [[Citrusoft Robotics]], programmed with the goal of making people happy. Every Chibi-Robo comes with a [[Chibi-House]] shaped like its head. Chibi-Robos were preceded by [[Giga-Robo|Giga-Robos]], a larger, similar-looking robot also made by [[Citrusoft Robotics]], a long time before Chibi-Robos were created. Chibi-Robos are unable to speak, but can communicate using yes or no using signs. They run on [[Watt|Watts]] and can be recharged by plugging into an [[Outlet]].

The first generation of Chibi-Robo was dedicated to helping around the purchaser's household, doing things like chores and acting as a friendly companion. They each come with a manager/mascot robot called [[Telly Vision]]. These Chibi-Robos eventually caused an energy crisis like the Giga-Robos and temporarily became less popular as a result.

The first generation of Chibi-Robo can be seen in ''[[Chibi-Robo! Plug Into Adventure!]]'', and is owned by [[the Sandersons]].

[[George Sanderson]] bought the Chibi-Robo for his daughter, [[Jenny Sanderson]], as a birthday gift. During the birthday celebration, Chibi-Robo was introduced, with its first objective being to get an impromptu gift for Jenny. [[Mrs. Sanderson]], who was angry at her husband for buying the Chibi-Robo since he was between jobs, claimed that he had only purchased the robot for himself. Despite the divisive nature of the purchase, this Chibi-Robo eventually meets and befriends several living [[Toy|toys]], discovers and revives the [[Sandersons' Giga-Robo]] left in disrepair within the [[Basement]], defeats the [[Spydorz]] and their [[Queen Spydor|queen]], helps to fulfill the promise made by a group of [[Alien|aliens]] to their friend, and prevents the divorce of Mr. and Mrs. Sanderson through the gradual repair of their turbulent relationship.

 

Due to the promise of the aliens to their friend Giga-Robo being fulfilled, this Chibi-Robo, and any other Chibi-Robo that would plug itself into the Sandersons' Giga-Robo, would be granted an infinite battery life and would no longer be a part of the power consumption problem posed by the popular usage of Chibi-Robos.
