The Attic is a hidden gambling den run by ghosts in Okaeri! Chibi-Robo! Happy Richie Ōsōji!. It contains 4 game tents, one fighting ring, and the Don's tent.

When you first come to the casino, only one game is available - the roulette wheel. The other games can be unlocked by catching ghosts at night and delivering them to the Don ghost, who will also give you gambling chips and Happy Points in return.

Playing games will earn you points, which you can trade in for items at the Trading Counter. You earn more points by winning (or losing) bigger amounts of chips.

The fighting ring is only available for certain parts of Habanero's storyline. Habanero will visit the casino though at other parts of the story.

Games

Ghost Roulette

The Ghost Roulette allows you to bet from 100 to 500 Greed (200 to 1000 with the Tuxedo) on any of 5 slots. As many slots as desired may be selected. Wins are between 2x to 16x, depending on the slot that wins. There is also a ?x slot, represented by the Busty Ghost, which may earn from 2x to even 32x profits. Potential max profit with the Tuxedo is a net of 31 000 Greed.

Ghost Poker

Works exactly like Poker in real life, with the exception that you are not allowed to swap cards to potentially improve your hand, therefore working more like Texas Hold'em. The tent has three sections that allow you to bet different amounts. You may initially bet from 100 to 500 Greed taking every section into account. After the hands are dealt, you may either Fold to lose the initial bet, or Bet to triple it. The objective is to beat the host's hand. If the host's hand is identical, bets will simply be returned. The net profits are always a third of the original bet (e.g. 3000 → 4000). Potential max profit with the Tuxedo is a net of 1000 Greed.

Ghost 21

Works exactly like Black Jack in real life, with three sections that allow you to bet different amounts. The objective is to pull cards and get closer to 21 than the host without going over it. You may Hit to pull another card as many times as you like, Double to only pull a third card, or Stand to stop pulling. If the host has an identical sum to you, the bets will simply be returned. Potential max profit with the Tuxedo is a net of 4000 Greed using the Double function.

Ghost Balloon

A ghost who speaks relatively normally runs this game seemingly abandoned by the players. Your objective is to blow up the balloon as much as possible without blowing it up, increasing a counter which may go up to 1000 points. If you stop before it blows up, the host will continue to do so instead, and may either pass the turn to you again or blow the balloon up, losing the game in your favor. Potential max profit with the Tuxedo is 2000 Greed, as you do not bet in this game, and instead pay the amount of Greed shown in the counter if you lose.

Trading Counter

Talking to the ghost at the counter will give you the following options:

  • Exchange gambling chips for Moolah - 1 chip = 1 Moolah. If you have 4000 in chips, you will receive 4000 Moolah
  • Exchange points for items
  • View your balance - shows how many chips, Moolah, and points you currently have
  • Casino earnings - shows the net total you have earned or lost by playing games at the casino. If you have in total won 5000 chips but lost 3000 chips, your earnings will show as +2000.

Items

The following 4 items are available for purchase at the Trading Counter:

  • (5 points) Rich Points
  • (40 points) Stickers
  • (300 points) Chibi Plane: Can be used from the takeoff zone in the Backyard
  • (1000 points) Tuxedo Costume: Wearing this costume doubles the bets and consequentially net wins you make in any game.

Notes

  • You do not lose battery while in the casino. Play away the night!
  • It is possible to bet on all slots in Roulette, although obviously this will not necessarily net a profit.
  • Meanwhile different hands are shown to have different multipliers in Ghost Poker, they do not affect the profits.
  • Ghosts are always playing in each of the modes besides Ghost Balloon. This does not affect the player's wins.
  • Ghosts may appear beside the player in Poker or Ghost 21 to cheer the player on if the session has been profitable and long enough.

Trivia

  • After a sizable profit has been acquired, Telly will ask to play and let the player control him. After he has won enough, he will automatically let Chibi-Robo switch back.
