The Backyard is where Ketchup can first be encountered in Okaeri! Chibi-Robo! Happy Richie Ōsōji!. The backyard contains Ketchup's tomato patch, flower gardens, a pond, and the Chibi Plane takeoff zone. It is the only room in the house that does not have a cleanliness percentage.
You can buy up to 4 Chibi Windmills that are placed in the backyard. These help generate Watts for the house, or Chibi-Robo can plug into them to gain Watts directly.

Things To Do
- Ketchup the toy is located here. Talk to him to get the Tomato costume which you can use to play guitar.
- Use the Tomato costume's guitar playing ability to make the Smoglings turn pink. They will follow you around for a few seconds before turning black again. Lead the pink Smoglings over areas marked with an X, and they will turn into flower buds.
- Use the squirter to grow the buds into flowers. Once fully grown, you can change their color by bumping into them.
- Climb the tree to find a couple of stickers.
- When you obtain the Chibi Plane, you can use it by interacting with the plane sign at the takeoff zone. You can reach the outdoor table and the awnings with the plane, where there are more stickers hidden.
