Kid Eggplant is an eggplant-like character who was inside a treasure chest up the tree in the Backyard, where a digging spot is. The treasure chest can only be dug up after the Treasure Maps have been received from Captain Plankbeard, and the Chibi-Radar can be used to find where to dig. After he is rescued, Kid Eggplant rewards Chibi-Robo by turning him into an eggplant, but Chibi-Robo doesn't like it and wants to be turned back into a robot.
