"Good Friends" are a mechanic explored in Chibi-Robo!: Plug Into Adventure , but more utilized in Chibi-Robo!: Park Patrol . This article focuses on its use in Chibi-Robo!: Park Patrol.

Kid Kombo becomes a Good Friend after completing all his dance classes.

Obtaining "Good Friend" Status

Each Toy that exists in the City can become a Good Friend. This is triggered by using a Toy for Park Projects a certain number of times, and then recharging that Toy while a specific other toy is already patrolling in the Alley . If the correct order is acheived, a cutscene will start, showing the two toys interacting with each other about their problems. After this, the next time you revive the affected toy, it will look different and acknowledge that Chibi-Robo is its Good Friend now.

Effects

A Toy becoming Chibi's "Good Friend" increases the toy's skills (Lower pricing for Park Projects) and allows the toy to complete more Park Projects before Running out of Juice. In addition, each Good Friend you obtain allows the erection of a statue in their image, as a Park Project. Each statue attracts 10 extra visitors, but you can only have 1 up at a time.

Interactions

The order of characters to recharge are as follows:

Chassy -> Tampa

Tampa will be worried about not liking war, and preferring construction. Chassy will drive up, wondering what's happening and compliment Tampa on his construction abilities. She'll try to ask Tampa on a date but become flustered and drive away.

Francois -> Molly Mapleleaf

Molly Mapleleaf -> Francois then

Talk to Kid Kombo -> Chassy

Chassy will complain about not being new enough and how she lusts for the days when she was a "cool, shiny new car". Kid Kombo will then walk up and whistle at her, asking to go get a burger and mistaking her for a man. Chassy will then get very offended and tell Kid Kombo to go away, before contemplating her priorities and driving off.

Tampa -> Pop

Pop will, as usual, forget that Fizz is no longer with him, and slap himself. He'll begin to miss Fizz, and then Tampa will approach and make a comment about Pop being "A soldier without his army." Pop realizes Tampa is right, and then both of them leave the scene.
