Sand is a space in Chibi-Robo!: Park Patrol. Flowers can't grow in it. Initially, much of the park is full of sand. In order to progress through the game, Chibi-Robo must buy the Tiller cartridge and use it to change the Sand to Soil. Attempting to water the buds will result in the flowers being stuck until the ground beneath them has turned to soil
