The pan appears out of nowhere and usually happens when [[Chibi-Robo]] goes to remove his plug from an outlet outside its [[Chibi-House]]. It falls on Chibi-Robo's head, knocking him down. [[Telly Vision]] will count the number of times Chibi-Robo got slammed by pans.

A washpan is a recurring element in the Chibi-Robo! series.

When unplugging from an Outlet, a washpan may sometimes fall on Chibi-Robo's head, knocking him down. Telly Vision will count the number of times this happens. In the Happy Book, Kenichi Nishi, the Director of Chibi-Robo! Plug Into Adventure!, says that he suspects Mr. Prongs is the one dropping the washpans on Chibi-Robo, or at least making them.[1]
