A Flower is a type of object found throughout the Chibi-Robo series. They appear in Chibi-Robo! Plug Into Adventure!, Chibi-Robo! Park Patrol, and Okaeri! Chibi-Robo! Happy Richie Ōsōji!, though with different mechanics and uses in each appearance. Flowers in Okarei! Chibi-Robo! are identical to Chibi-Robo! Park Patrol flowers, but lose their gameplay purpose.
Flowers In Chibi-Robo! Plug into Adventure!
There are various flowers that can be grown in Chibi-Robo! Plug Into Adventure!. Flower seeds can be bought at the Chibi-PC, or found in the backyard. Seeds can be grown by using the spoon to dig holes in specific locations.
Flowers
Pink, white, and blue flower seeds can be purchased at the Chibi-PC for 30 Moolah.
Nectar Flowers
Nectar flowers can be found in the backyard, or grown using a nectar flower seed, which can be bought at the Chibi-PC for 777 Moolah. Using the Squirter Chibi-Tool, Nectar can be drawn out of a flower and used. Sunshine and the Bluebird will ask Chibi-Robo to bring them Nectar at different points. A nectar flower is also required to be grown for Mort at a certain point of his story.
The Legendary Nectar Flower
Near the end of Sunshine's story, he gives Chibi-Robo a legendary seed. He tells Chibi-Robo that it takes 10 years to grow. It can be grown in the past in the master Bedroom in a planter near the bed. The flower glows different colors, and legendary nectar can be drawn from it using the Squirter.
Flowers In Chibi-Robo!: Park Patrol
Growing flowers is one of the main mechanics of Chibi-Robo! Park Patrol. The goal of the game is to grow lots of flowers all over the park. The progression of the story depends on how many flowers have been grown. They come in many different colors, affected by the type of terrain they grow near. If the height of terrain is changed using the Height cartridge, the flowers already present will remain the same color they were before. Flowers can be picked and given to the flower shop owner for Happy Points.
Buds
Buds are ungrown flowers which are produced when the Boom Box is used near a white flower. They are also spawned when a Smogling or Smogglob bursts. They will grow into flowers if watered, but only if they are on soil. They will not grow on sand. Buds cannot grow into black or miasmo flowers.
White Flowers
White Flowers are the only type of flower that can produce seeds. By using the Boom Box near them, they shoot an amount of buds to nearby locations, and change color depending on the status of the plot that they're planted on.
Red Flowers
Red Flowers grow on Small Hills, flat land that is any height except 1 or -1 Chibits, or in flower beds.
Orange Flowers
Orange Flowers grow on all types of hills, or in flower beds.
Yellow Flowers
Yellow Flowers grow on Medium Hills, flat land that is any height except for 2 or -2 Chibits, or in flower beds.
Green Flowers
Green Flowers grow near Trees and Shrubberies, or in flower beds. They will not grow if a river is in the same plot. They take priority over Chibit height.
Blue Flowers
Blue Flowers grow near ponds and streams, or in flower beds. They take priority over all other flower colors except rainbow. Blue Flowers can be given to the worker at Monkey Burger for Happy Points and a Monkey Burger.
Purple Flowers
Purple Flowers grow on large Hills, flat land that is 2, 1, -1, or -2 Chibits high, or in flower beds.
Rainbow Flowers
Rainbow Flowers are rare flowers which can grow in any type of plot. Occasionally, when a rainbow flower is grown, a rainbow will appear. This causes all flowers grown after this to be rainbow flowers for a few moments. Rainbow Flowers can also appear if affected by a Pink Smogling or Smogglob. If super tools are activated, all flowers will turn into Rainbow Flowers when picked.
Black Flowers
Black flowers are flowers that have been affected by Smoglings or a Smogglob. They wilt at the end of the day, and cannot be restored. They can be sold to the flower shop for 1 Happy Point.
Miasmo Flowers
Miasmo Flowers are transformed by the gas attack of a Smogglob or Miasmo. They can be turned back to normal by touching it, and do not wilt.
