History

2008

On April 21, MarioGalaxy2433g5, now known as TheMG, founded the Chibi-Robo! Wiki on Fandom.

2012

TheMG vanished from the internet in June 2012. Chibi-Robo! Wiki was mostly vacant for a while after TheMG's disappearance, as they were the only user making edits, for the most part. A few users came and added a few things, but TheMG was still the only Administrator, despite being inactive for 2+ years.

2014

In January 2014, Bommercannyboskov and Tactical Master started making edits to the wiki.[1][2] Bommercannyboskov was granted ownership or at least Bureaucratic privileges at some point and was the new Wiki Administrator. Tactical Master made a lot of good edits too around this time. Bommercannyboskov noticed Tactical Master's good work and made Tactical Master an Administrator right before Bommercannyboskov went on hiatus or something like that[3]. Bommercannyboskov and Tactical Master edited the wiki every now and then over the next few years but not super consistently.

2015

June 9, Hoshcof reaches out to Bommercannyboskov about wanting to help improve the Chibi-Robo! Wiki and clean it up.[4] Hoshcof expresses interest in becoming a moderator after Bommercannyboskov says they don't use FANDOM anymore, but might start again.[5]

2019

In March, Hoshcof sent a request to FANDOM requesting to adopt the Chibi-Robo! Wiki and on May 22, he was granted bureaucratic rights and was made an Administrator.[6] After being granted bureaucratic rights, Hoshcof made over 200 edits in the span of one month. Hoshcof made it his goal to completely revamp the Chibi-Robo! Wiki.

2020

Hoshcof made over one thousand edits in 2020, including a lot of improvements and quality of life changes. On July 19, Character Infoboxes were added. On July 26, Game Infoboxes were improved. 3 days later, July 29, Game Ratings were added to the Game Infoboxes. On August 12, the main page was completely redesigned, a new face for a new era. On September 15, Hoshcof submitted a request to FANDOM to change the wiki's url; the request was granted the same day, changing the url from chibirobo.fandom.com to chibi-robo.fandom.com.

2024

Hoshcof reached out to the Nintendo Independent Wiki Alliance and began conversation regarding the inclusion of the Chibi-Robo! Wiki. Over the following weeks, Bulbapedia devops BulbaTech and Hoshcof worked to fork off from Fandom and on to it's own independent MediaWiki, hosted by Bulbapedia.
